The New Ava Translation (NAT)

She started with the popular verse, John 3:16 -

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal lice."

Oh, I think I might vomit. I had to do many, many head checks when I worked in school-age care with the YMCA. Those were gross days. Gross, gross, gross.

But this was still a good laugh.

Praise God that our inheritance is infinitely better than lice!

I am glad taht we do not have to have eternal lice, as we can wash with a special shampoo for that. I am also glad that we can have eternal "life" as we can wash in the special shampoo that Jesus has given to us.

Lori Translation,
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that we do not have to have eternal lice, but we have the assurance of eternal "life" through him!! AMEN!!

How terrifying for her! She's picturing the lesser of two evils..."well, i don't perish, but I do get eternal lice." Poor thing! :)

Too cute. I love that you shared this, it's a hoot!

I think I might rather perish. The lice is definitely the more formidable foe. Yike!
